Be Grateful Poem by kewulere alfanla

Be Grateful

What if this day met you in the prison?
Been served, a food with no season
Words pushing you, but a must lesson
Maybe den you will know how to reason

What if this day met you in the mortuary
And what is going around is your obituary
Perhaps an accident so sanguinary
Maybe den you will clean your eyes teary

What if this day met u at the hospital
What if is an accident so fatal
Oh friend, will you reason
In winter and summer season

For we have so much reasons to be grateful
Let's quickly do, as not to be call a fool
For each day of our life is so much expensive
Let's cheer up and free away from pensive

Happy birthday to you today's day
May your day's filled with joy and gay.
May you have a nice day so well
That's all I have today to tell
