Bats Poem by Kevin Seales

Bats

Bats are kind of creepy
They live inside our house
Even though they're sneaky
They're cleaner than a mouse

They eat up all the bugs
The ones that we call pest
They don't poop on the rugs
Like mice and all the rest

Bats mostly fly at night
When everyone's asleep
They crawl in spaces that are tight
It's food that they all seek

Whenever a bat is flying around
They cannot see a thing
Their radar picks up every sound
That all the insects bring

So when you see a bat
Just know, they're misunderstood
They're just like dogs, and even cats
Who's doing a job thats good
