Barely Hanging On Poem by Heather Hill

Barely Hanging On

I'm walking on an edge trying not to look down
Trying to make it without falling
I look up at the dark sky the only light is the stars
Looking to see if I can find the North star so I can find my way back home
Tired of just barley hanging on
Just wanna be alone sitting at home wondering can I ever make it to the other side
Make it on my own
I just want to be me, chasing the one thing over and over that I will never catch
If everyone tells you to follow your dreams then why is it every time I do it everything breaks apart
