Baptized Poem by Josilinia Plyman

Baptized

Rating: 5.0

I drowned.
Tides came in and lapped at my toes,
until finally they convinced me
to join the waves,
to really experience living.
Falling for him was like screaming underwater:
exhilarating, but short lived.
Even as I watch the last air bubbles
rise to the surface,
I know that I would do it again.
