Balance Poem by Practicing Poetess

Balance

Rating: 5.0

Sunshine and rainstorms
Rose petals, and thorns
They all mix together
Like death, being born

Bitterness, sweetness
Sorrow and joy
We can't always choose
The next page of our story

Good days, and bad days
Loss and gain
Who knows if tomorrow brings
Pleasure or pain?

The scales somehow balance
In the end
And you'll make it through
With a steadfast friend.

the balance has always been in our hearts we just have to push the button to start

Thanks so much, Louis! Can't seem to find that button.... I wish it were that easy! But, sunshine or rain, we can certainly choose our attitudes, even if we can't control the weather!

Life's goods and bads are like the waves of the sea. You just sail on them. Excellent poem!
