i thought i was out
but here they sprout
down my face
very fast pace
i wish they would slow
and never show
everything that mattered
is torn and battered
i watch it slowly burn
each thing having its own turn
the pain in my heart
as it's still being torn apart
please numb this pain
with the burning flame
take me away
where forever i will stay
i will travel far
to get from where you are
anywhere but here
somewhere without a tear
