Lift up your face;
The bright morning is dawning
For you, greeting you soothingly.
Though silent, the glistening river
Sings a beautiful song for you.
The sky above beams at you with
Its first morning splendour.

Face your destiny boldly;
The pall of darkness has been
Removed permanently.
Sit beside me, hold my hands;
I am with you for years and years
To face the coming darkness boldly
With our dear old Nature.
