Author Of Magic
His mind sharp and focused,
Where great imagination dwells
Never blunt or misleading,
In stories without parallels.
He's impossible to categorise,
His genius second to none.
He can write about absurdities,
And remain loved by everyone.
His loyal fans exist everywhere,
Legion's the whole worldwide.
Enjoying his gifted writings,
Leaving new ones starry-eyed.
He passed away not long ago,
His legacy he left behind.
For the stories of Roald Dahl,
Linger in a reader's mind.

And Sky tv have just finished filming at our museum The Tail Of The Curious Mouse. it's about a 6 year old Roald Dahl meeting his beloved favourite storyteller Beatrix Potter. And that is true and the rest is history. To be broadcast on Sky this Christmas Day. Their Big production offering. And Dawn French plays Beatrix Potter. Wonderful tribute to the late, great Roald Dahl. Currently, I'm working with one of my younger students on Mathilda. She thinks it's very funny and a darn good story to boot, Anyhow, it's a tribute to literary magic inspired ten from me!
