At the start of 09 and another year
Of similar news stories to 08 we already do hear
Another war in the Middle East causing death bloodshed and fear
Some even claim that to the World Armageddon is near
Stories of climate change and economic depression in the news every day
The future for humanity not good it is looking that way
And throughout the World the sibling of war terrorism is rife
For to slaughter the innocents some take their own life
Wars in Palestine and Israel, Iraq and Afghanistan
Famines and wars in Africa in Lands such as Zimbabwe and Sudan
That millions are feeling depressed and forsaken is not hard to understand
And more wars for God and Resources and more wars for God and for Land
Last year it is only for history to the past it forever has gone
But this year's news stories seem similar and life in the World goes on.
