At The End Of The Day...
take note
at the end of the day
please understand
what you are
ever since you are
what you are
do not this day change
you, let this self stay
be kind to it,
it is your friend, confused
and startled
comfort it, tell it, it is
normal, nothing hurts,
inside the house
another music plays
a mellow song for you,
the light of the room
too comforting
and its warmth is like
a pigeon cooing
back to its nest its
only home.
