At The Beach



She is sitting
With five others
-Three couples total -

Around the same
Table.

Unnoticed,

Her eyes are wandering
Half of the time;
The other half
They are closed.

I wonder,
What do
Courtship and friendship
mean?

I never saw,
The sea
Walking away from
A sun burned ship.
