At Last Poem by Gerald Massey

At Last

A FEW more Meetings on the Deep,
And partings on the shore;
And then in Heaven at last we keep
Our tryst for evermore.

A little further we must bear
The load, and do our best;
Then take immortal solace where
The wretched are at rest.

Our Pilgrimage will soon be past,
Our worst afflictions borne;
Some weary night, 'twill be the last,
And then Eternal Morn.
