As Steady As The Raging Sea
Tears fall from her eyes
As she stares at her betrayer
He walks away and doesn’t once
Turn to look back
Rivers flow and the
World drowns
As words are recalled
Given by a loving mother
Who once walked the
Self-same road before:
Teen love is built
Steady as the
Fickle ever-changing sea
