As Expected
Having seen your face
A thousand times
A vision living in my dreams
I felt the pure essence
Of your uniqueness
With a beautiful smile!
Feeling renewed and hopeful
That one day you would
Be mine for it was just
A matter of time to find you!
A year or so ago
I had no idea who I was
As my life held a lonely shake
Of sorrow and hurt painted
In my painful memory!
Magically I discovered
That all along you had
Been waiting for me too
Love waited for so long
For the perfect moment to meet
When we least expected it
Our dreams came true!
Darling you are now
My beautiful reality
The one who brought me
A brilliant love that shines
Upon my heart and soul
Love's eternal flame as
A torch forever to hold!
