gentle lovemaking

furious cuddling

a tempest of typing
intense Internet-ting

oil
(or water colour)
painting

(all done in bed)

the answer is
always: “Yes! ”

to that good old
British custom.

“What time is it? ”
you politely ask.

“It’s tea o’clock! ”
I just as politely
answer.

And, amazingly
it

always
is!

Served in a big red
(again in bed)

steaming mug
(our cup runneth over)

sugarless
(of course)

but always
served with a

kiss

cuddle

or
hug.

Sometimes all three simultaneously
and at the same time.

Oh, I like my tea
