Artificial Intelligence Poem by Praveen Kumar In Shobha Priya

Artificial Intelligence

No justice where lawyer's skill decides judgment,
No democracy, where wise strategy wins elections,
No merit in selections dependent on techniques,
No fairness in man's act devoid of discretion;
For, just and right heart must decide what is right.

Performance, not paramount; rightness is the key,
Rightness misses out in artificial intelligence;
No tools mind sprouts stand up to heart's height,
No devices man assembles can ever him fight;
He is the polar star who takes himself to his fate.

Strategy and cleverness cloud man's instinct,
Tools and his techniques do foul his strength;
Easy though foul, it is numbers over fairness,
His shortcut to devastations to meet statistics;
Man smoke himself to reach unattainable goals.

Billions lose justice for want of right lawyers,
Lands lose self-rule for foul electoral strategies,
Fairness is thrown to air thro' indiscreet devices
And mess reigns over wherever we turn to look
When we brought ourselves to ease and comfort.

Nothing ever exceeds basic human elements,
Nothing can stand up to human discretions,
The creation's those rising evolution's summits;
Animate is man, how inanimate equal him,
And his inner strength of spiritual awakening?

Difficult indeed is the passage ahead to cover,
Strategies and techniques do help to negotiate;
But best left to the light of man's discretion
What seizes his soul and affects his far route,
For fairness and justness decide his directions.
