Art And Nature (Courtesy Studio) Poem by Pierre Rausch

Art And Nature (Courtesy Studio)

The keys pinned to a clipboard
My back, my ears, my lips
The clattering of cups and dishes
I am ready to get this show on the road
What will make it completely straight
The sound of catcalls and confident dogs
Probably checked into rehab by the end of this week
Smoothing her shimmering piano
And the picture on the wall
Imagine that color as shape of note
Not that I know from experience
But the milkman knows
In a restaurant turned in my direction
Elaborating and evaluating
Considered by most to be handsome
Would look over to glance
You're ready to do rehearsal
Pleasure built low in my belly
Thanks, I said and started the engine
Holding things together and then
Narrowing my eyes in full length
Take a seat and listen

The ambience comes through in this well penned write. The images stand before the reader clearly.++10
