Arizona Dreaming Poem by Gainor Ventresco

Arizona Dreaming

Rating: 1.8

When I finally let it go
after being desert wanderer to your oasis
I found my parched heart
absorbed with you
All of me has bathed in that light
transcended time and space
A desert rose
warm within cracked stone

very nice. 'Oasis' and the cracked stone of the last line are a little incongruous to me. I think I wanted to be left with the image of the rose as the last thing...(unless the last line has a meaning I didn't get)
