music in my ears
trembles with the shifting coldness
that grasps me around my mind
as I put my face in my hands
screaming, 'MAKE IT GO AWAY! ! ! '

the echoes that still worry me so
the pain that ties me down as I breathe in so deep
the questions whirling drowning me so
but don't know how to let it all go

a little blood gushing out
a little blood coughed into this cold, cold water
a little tear to make me scream
a little step to save me from all of this

desperately holding on to reality
desperately flinging myself as a shield
rather than to be just blown away
rather than to be gone forever
so i'd rather be here with you
than there, without

ignore a rumor
ignore the pain
see you as the apple of my eye
as I take myself down and start to sigh
to take myself away to think once again

no pain no gain
no time no game
cuz this is real
this is what i believe
this is...you, love
