Ashen moon rays and cool shades
Got used to my entire life circles
Spreading through-out in that hermitage
You are the sweet fragrant my dear Appachchee…

Life-slips and famines were there
I can’t remember how I survived from that sphere
Though you seemed so wearisome
Your love has never been reduced for mine

Though your destiny was so unkind
Never you cried, when your feet in pain
In this un easing life journey…
You never betrayed love for us my dear Appachchee…

Your love for me is so comfy, more than the pond Anothathattha,
Temple with-out god would be this whole world had I lost you
my dear That the…

Ps. pond Anothathattha is a factious divine pond in Buddhist legend.
Appachchee =Thaththe; the most affectionate Sinhala folk idiom for father=dad.
