I’ve been waiting calmly
Under the moon every night
Making a wish on every star
That my eyes could see
Wishing one day to find a man
Who can listen to me
As well as protect me
To hold me safe and warm
To let me know he is there
For me when I really need him
To show me true love
Then one night
I realized that person
I was praying for
Was no one else but you
You were right there in front of me
The person I always prayed for
You are my answered prayer
