Another Road Poem by Laura M. Eggebrecht

Another Road

The Tears That Roll Down My Face, The Pain
That Spread Threw Out My Body - Is Because
Of Missing You - The Person I'm So Much In
Love With & Now Your Forever Gone.,

My Prayers... My Wishes.. I Find Within...
Are Deep In My Heart I Want - To Come True.
Those Wishs & Prayers I Hold Within - Are To
Spend My Life With You As I Sit Here Alone.

I Find Myself Wishing For The Phone To Ring,
I Wish To Hear Your Voice - Over The Phone, But
For Some Reason - God Has Taken You Onto Another
Road Of The Past... And Now You've Forgotten The
New... I'm Not Perfect... I'm Not Rich...

The Love I Hold Is Worth More Than Gold...
My Love Is Real, I'm Faithful... And Those Tears
Of Pain, The Broken Heart I Hold Inside Are True.
Wishes They Can Become Reality - But Everything
Is Up To You.. First You Must Turn Your Back
On The Past, Your Future... ' Another Road
