Another Magic Evening Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Another Magic Evening

Another magic evening
that to the heart gives,
and with a moment's living
that from the past lives.

So much is in the time
of life that goes by,
those hours of a prime
that makes up friendship's tie.

Days pleasures are some gone
to evening of its day
but dreams still carry on
those moments and play.

For nothing stands still
it goes and goes around,
over the unknown hill
where other dreams are found.

Another magic bountiful
so much of joy and fun,
all which we are grateful
when those days are gone.

For nothing is forever
it comes and goes away,
but life is joy together
to meet the coming day.
