Alone in a world
so cold and cruel.
Hiding in shadows
of yesterday...

Thrown into a world
so strange to you.
A world where you see
no light of day...

~*~

Confusion and fear
welled up inside.
Pain so overwhelming
it's difficult to breathe.

~*~

Tears no longer fall
though you long to cry.
Death befalls you -
to a certain degree...

~*~

Your heart continues
to rapidly pound
Feels like it's going to
burst out of your chest.
Hiding in dark shadows -
although there's no one around.

~*~

Wishing you could
lay down and die -
For sometimes you want
to just end it all.

~*~

So many twist and turns
you're lost in a maze.
Each path that you choose
leads you straight into
'Another Brick Wall'
