Animus Felix Draco Poem by Nathan Vigil

Animus Felix Draco

In my mind,
I sit,
like a serpent in the wait'
among the sheep.

My ice blue scales,
seen by all,
feared not at all;
my tallens and paws
cold as death
In winter shores.

In the sun
a halo golden shows
my tallens and paws
warm as love
In summer play.

Filled is my heart
with firy care
If you need
jusk ask
and I shall aid.

In my mind,
I sit,
like a serpent in the wait'
among the sheep.
