POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

On Route 50 in Salisbury Maryland one could see some crates drop into traffic and the chickens being run over.

Frank Perdue gave several million dollars to the University of Maryland to research rabbit meat... but a hero with the Animal Liberation Front liberated the animals the day before each student was to butcher and skin his or her 'own' rabbit
