And Then He Says His Cup Runneth Over. Poem by RIC BASTASA

And Then He Says His Cup Runneth Over.

by the window
a saffron curtain
hangs, and thenat the center
a cross from
romania, and a rock
from israel, and
a pumpkin candle
unlighted for years
not to waste it.

and then he says
his cup runneth over.
