An Unfaithful Repast Poem by Dans Only

An Unfaithful Repast

Drama queens and Divas
Surround me
With their alligator smiles
So coy and sweet
Teasing me with eyes
Blue, brown, and green
Tearing down my resolve
Luring me toward them
Escape is futile
When the feeding frenzy begins
I happily give in
First the heart
Then the mind
Their feast is on me
As they depart
I'm left only with
Their telling scent
And my guilty defile.
