An Old Man In The Dark Room Poem by RIC BASTASA

An Old Man In The Dark Room

Rating: 5.0

Gnarled
loose, dry,
sunken cheek
like a hollow sandpit
trembling hands
like trees in a
typhoon state
of things
hands clasped
always in
prayer

peace,
eyes closed
body and soul
intertwined.
