# # An Instant God Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

# # An Instant God

Rating: 3.3

cow dung
not just that to a hindu
a ganapat made out of it
on a pongal day
a ganapat would be made out of it
instantly
a symbol of god
we pray to it as god
an attire of turmeric or sandal and sindoor
a tiny little garland around
an instant ganapat out of dung this one
this fat little ganapat fascinates my little one

* pongal is a harvest festival in tamilnadu
* ganapat is lord ganesha

Doesn't matter who we praise to as god. As long as we have God in our lives, respect for everyone and believe in righteousness, we are united in prayers. Excellent write! : -)
