An Illegal Immigrant Poem by Abu Sufian

An Illegal Immigrant

A man came to being,
He foolishly thought, ‘he was free',
Hastily believed the world is connected,
Believing in ‘global village'.

When he landed in an unknown land,
He was captured, detained & tortured,
He realized what a border is,
Realized what tears us apart,
What disunites us: The Borders.
