An Eternal Cry Poem by Rain Storm

Your eyes are so sad,
Oh what have they seen,
Where did they take you
For they've lost their gleam.

Your mother was here with you,
Oh where did she go,
By the breath of me,
Do I even want to know?

You're dripping wet,
Oh where have you been,
You're four years old
Can you even swim?

There's Seaweed in your hair,
Oh no don't tell me you went there,
Where's your mother,
Why ain't she here?

You're pointing to the lake
Oh this short walk we will take,
There's your mother,
Good heavens is she even awake?

Your voice is quivering,
Oh, she jumped into the lake,
Why was she so unhappy,
That her own life she did take.
