An Autumn Feeling Poem by Sandra Feldman

An Autumn Feeling

Rating: 5.0

Can't tell the Autumn leaves apart
So many, falling, winds cold start,
This Autumn feeling
Never, leads to Spring again
There is no rebirth
In the loveless heart.

To have and hold,
In Love, we're told
But nothing is Forever,
Winter's cold
And lost love reaches
Deepest pain
Never to see Life,
The same way again
Carefree and loving and so gay,
Never to share real happiness,
Those special moments,
They're the best
Surrounded by tender caress.

We stumble, fall and then
Get up,
But when love's gone,
All life is bare,
That Autumn feeling,
Always there.

Beautiful, sad poem. In the depth of winter, there is no sign of life, of spring. And yet... it comes!
