An Angel Took Her Home Poem by Justin Tanabe

An Angel Took Her Home

Rating: 5.0

Gabriel took her home last night
He wrapped his wings around her
As the sky opened and pulled
Both of them up.
That moment her pain her anguish
Fled from her
For she went to a land
Where she is forever young
Where her dreams shine like stars.
Where rose buds beckon
to kiss her lips.
She is now the timeless whisper
of a heavenly wind.
She is the pristine brook from where
the unicorn of eternity drinks.
She is the waves that gently caress
the shore of the Lord’s ocean.
