Amongst a sea of idiots
Drowning in the obscure
The passion and life
Strained by the gratification
Of follows and likes
Comments of self-adulation
Praise be to the prettiest
The self-obsessed shepherds
And their sheep which follow
Blind and complimentary
No, intelligence is secondary
Thoughts and ideals secondary
Talent, drive, ambition, art
All secondary still secondary
But that instant coffee grind
Praise be to the poster stands
Stands stronger than before
A living mind
Amongst a sea of idiots
Trying not to drown
