America The Beautiful Poem by Melissia Ann Senter

America is the land of the free.
Many languages they are trying to make us speak.
Events from 9-11 have devastated our nation.
Remembering the awful pictures on the TV,
ill to my stomach is what I am feeling
They want us to change our language
because the Immigrants want our jobs, freedom and benefits.
Allowing this to happen will only be cause for disaster.

Terrifying is the thought that our government would allow this to happen.
They want to come here because of the freedom.
Even though we welcome them to come here and live,
doesn't mean we give them the right to make us learn their
language, or take our jobs.


To be a true American you have to learn the language,
each and everyone of you who wants to come join our country.
Constantly the news is talking about how the immigrants
want to change our ways of life, wanting us to take 'In God we trust'

out of our schools, off our money and out of our vocabulary.

'UNDER GOD' IS OUR MOTTO


Leave our country if you don't want to learn our language.
Imagine us coming into your country and forcing you to learn our language.
Freedom is what they want to take away from us


I, for one, want to stand up for our country.
I am a true American, born and raised here in this beautiful country.
We will always trust in our God. for he is the reason our country was found.
As the pledge reads 'One nation under God with liberty and justice for all'.
We as Americans need to take a stand and fight for our country's rights,
to believe in and trust in our God.

To the immigrants that want to cross our borders and be a part of our nation;
You should learn our language, and always remember
that America was founded 'Under God', and we became a nation.
So I say, if you do not like our ways of life,
maybe you should just pack up your things and just leave now.
Just be on your way back across the borders and back into your nation
because we will always trust in our God,
as one nation under God
