Soaring as the eagle does
This country flew to freedom
Fleeing from pain
And seeking the quality in life

My darling
Dread not the future
Study the past
And reveal the present

Feed your children
Shelter your friends
And defend your honor

Metal waterfowl filled the sky
Grabbing the clouds
And deflecting death
Taking the earth to the battefield

Savage America
Destroy a home
And kill a family
