! Amber! Poem by Ajay Pisharody

That amber is holy
not to be surrendered
under unholy feet of pale
yellow drapes of weak waves
which cause a mild tremor
on a mighty ocean..
Amber is holy,
A pure fearless ensemble
not to be surrendered
under that unfair northern curse
or minds which place sting nails
to instill faithless faith,
loyal their peers
but loyal is the one I worship
in black stone,
in thirty three crore forms,
most dependable, more faithful, loyal;
amber and my soul rest there
not on any unholy fair feet.
