You were my one dream love
How I wish you were here
Every time I think of you
I usually shed a tear

You were always loving and gentle
The way that you held me
When we were together
Love was all that we could see

The way that you would love me
Always lit up my world
That's why to this very day
I never found another girl

I wish that I could hold you
For just one more time
But I do have the memories
That will always be mine

Every night when I'm alone
I always stare up at the sky
I'm not ashamed to say
I think of you and cry

My tears fall like rain
I don't care who can see
Because when I lost you
I lost the best part of me

Well it's time for me to turn in
I'll close my eyes like I always do
