Friendship is a very valuable thing;
A friend is someone who happiness brings.
When you feel alone in the world and no one understands,
you can count on me to hold your hand.
I understand some of the things you've been through,
and I know that you sometimes understand me too.
I hope you had the best birthday ever,
and hope you know I'm here for you where and whenever.
To help you and guide you through the tough times in life,
like you've helped me to turn away from the knife.
