Alone, With Myself Poem by Sandra Feldman

Alone, With Myself

Rating: 5.0

Alone,
With myself
Quite unpleasant
Most of the time,
Monotony, Boredom
Sets in
After so many years
Do I know myself,
Or am I just,
A walking sin
Of a stranger
Kept sadly,
Near by
In an inconspicuous,
Bin!

Alone,
With yourself,
Sometimes, inspires, fears
That after so many years
There are things
You still don 't know
About, yourself,
And that full of
Mystery appear.

But the most
Painful of all,
Still is
Being alone,
With yourself
And still asking
What inthe world
Am I doing,
Alone, in this
Solitary, rotating
Sphere?
"It's not good
To be alone"
In some holy book
Was once said,
To those that
Multiplied, here.

Am I doing/Alone, in this/Solitary, rotating/Sphere? Loneliness has a great merit on the part of a poet to consolidate thinking process! Moreover, solitude is an exquisite ambience of a creative writer that produces powerful writing oozing out of strong feelings and emotions! (10)
