Alone With A Dream Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

Alone With A Dream

Rating: 4.4

From a really true dream
wings are grown
And the dream it will fly

But the second hand dream
With its engineered wings
Is destined to die

Hand crafted dreams they will not fly-

As the built wing-
(by skill of such logic)
is fated to die

But nature builds truer
by mysterious plan
And rules for us grandly
far more than we can

But nature builds truer by mysterious plan And rules for us grandly far more than we can.. you find the subtle difference between the natural dream and the made up dream. very fine insight and i love to read this last stanza. thank you dear poetess. tony
