loneliness
is the worst feeling of despair
when you have no one
nobody to care

and you cry yourself to sleep
you have to see her everyday
and her looks cut you deep
and no matter what you do its never ok

and when your gone she wont care
because shes moved on from you
i scream at life 'this isnt fair'
how can you leave someone if you love them true?

and how do you measure a man
they say by love, but i say not
you take his measure by his suffering
and nothing hurts so much as when love dies

but what happens when love dies for one
but not the other?
how can we bear to go on
when everything we loved is torn away from us?

and you cry alone at night
you want someone to make things right
your so lonely and scared
you thought that they cared

but your tears go unseen
and your cries are unheard
and your left alone
in the darkness of your suffering.
