Alone Poem by xihluke mlangeni

Alone

Rating: 5.0

I always drown when i sail my boat
Surrounded by voices
That always silence me
I belong in the island
Where i am isolated
Where my dreams are alive
In this lonely world
I want to be alone like an island
I won't be silenced by people
Who don't know my story
people who are quick to judge
Slowly they are to realise
That i am a storyteller
In this lonely world
I am a narrator
lend me your ears
I will hand you knowledge
Knowledge is power
I won't be silent
You don't know my story

Dear xihluke, Loneliness is not about the feeling of being alone, , it is sometimes you are being misunderstood., , , Let your silence speaks for yourself, for your new dreams and for your future victories......But always keep your feet on the ground.......Dream high but never put yourself above those things, , , they are just materials, , , build a strong relationship with God, the omnipotent, the one who knows the desire of your heart..... Your poem reminds me of, , , , my college days, , , Thank you Sincerely, diane
