Alone
Being alone, by myself
a company of my own
my business is loneliness
and my song, to be alone
Alone with myself today
is the joy of separation,
but tomorrow by myself
is just sheer damnation
A hopeless day yells
for a bright sunny sky,
this loneliness is dry
turning heaven into hell
Alone.
Loneliness is my prison
even beyond all reason
alone by myself
are the lyrics of despair.
