Almost Lover Poem by Vizo Meyase

Almost Lover

Rating: 4.0

Oh! Unbroken, unfall fragile tears, behold:
Fall not for any sake sight, which tempts...
Words might as angelic, yet; the world
You see outside, a fake step of jolt,
Quakes to catastrophes disaster innocently,

Oh! Untouched, unsung hearts of juveniles...
Weary not to hurry, this is a wreck place hastily
Already living in desire of fury, setting fire,
No matter to whom; young or old, though.
You are bright; you see smiles- yet,
You’ll be blind to spot the spotlight, in bare eyes-
The evil eye behind, flaming red...

Oh! Unshaken-unhidden souls of dreamers
Beware! Face not of a wee; that you’ve to hide your cry.
Dare to learn from your fallen tears...
When you find the shoulder to lean on has
Turn unusually deludes your caring thoughts...

Oh! Unkiss soften lips, watch-out...
Kneel adown not! Before, the roses buds blooms?
You’ll bleed hurting selves from the prickle thorns;
For you’ve dreamt a bed of roses, not it’s amid?

Oh! Little birdie, Romeo-Juliet, strange:
Your wings; flesh and grown not still...
Break not before you starts to fly, learn,
Yet, fall not without your wings, like a broken faith.

Oh! Unborn dawn lovers, welcome...
You’re deserve to be deserted not,
And so carry on and be still...
There’d come a time, you’ll be as good as-
To learn and to be called ‘almost lovers’.
