All Shall Relate 2 This 1 Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

All Shall Relate 2 This 1

Ever wish you could have that certain something you desperately wanted,
pertaining to love,
not having to be 'The Hunter' just to enjoy the thrill of being the 'Hunted'?

(For whatever reason) To yell aloud:
'This is the true me, I'm tired of playing the role of who YOU
think I should be,
from now on I am going to be myself,
here's the person your gonna see,
I'm so emotionally drained having to be somone else! '

How about Looking in the mirror and seeing the person who is normally rejected,
could I just once see the reflection, just having that happiness of once being selected,
hell, I'd even been so happy if I were just merely elected!

Not having to fight,
all the time for what your heart feels is right,
having no stress or pressure within you day,
to lay in your bed,
without thoughts running rampant thru-out your head,
being able to awake the next day and say:
'Wheeew, I finally had some decent sleep last night'

For our Soldiers to no longer have to live in fear,
to no longer have to wear, or rather
finally GET the chance to be told:
'Hang up that gear' your going home!

I judge a person for what's on the inside, not the outside.
Beauty is only skin deep,
when someone normally wants something from you,
their words are often cheap.
In my eyes being loyal and honest makes a friendship that much more for you to want to keep.
