All men are scripts of pure fiction
Just costumes of presentation
When bravado reeks the suit they wear
They are a tigers imitation
When Arrogance is their main course
They'll suffer through their just deserts
With fools gold as their rich conceit
A vain for shallow extroverts
And Confidence a con man's trick
The symptom of masculinity
Striving as lead the star of fools
With Hubris as his divinity
It's no wonder that we have such a great rapport with the opposite . You've described SOME men quite perfectly. Not all of them are like that! That aside, it's a great poem, Kevin. I do appreciate the satirical quality of it!
Thanks so much Richard! Your comments are always inspiring! I will admit I was harsh on casting a net to encompass all men, the targets should have been narrowed to particular species. Usually politicans. Joking!

Very impressive work that exposes the hypocrisy of mankind. Genuine people are extremely rare. A gem of a piece that reflects the truth of man's duality.
