How long this will prolong
It has been decades
since I had a hearty laugh
Where I enjoyed peace and love
and the warmth of human souls

I dream of a life
full of joy, love and hope
Where I don't have to worry about
life's daily care

I toil day and night
To make their future bright
All I get in return is
dissatisfaction and disrespect

I look at my future
It's all dark and gloomy
All I desire is, you know my love
Is to rest in your arms
