Ya know its funny how someone can tell you they love you
And really never mean it
Everytime they say it,
You know they're just saying it to make you feel better
They want to love you,
But for some reason they just can't
It's weird how it all can happen right under your nose
While you're in the best place...
Your own little world
Thinking things will never end
Thinking that someone is finally going to be that right one
Then it all blows up in your face
Before you could even have a chance to change anything
Things you thought were important to them really...
Didnt mean a damn thing
Time we spent together...
Definately not time well spent
It was time wasted in vain
Thinking it would all work out one day for the best
All the plans made together
Thinking they would be fulfilled
What a rediculous imagination one can have
The mind is a funny thing that way
It plays tricks on you
Making you think and feel one thing...
When in fact its teh exact opposite of everything you desire
All those dreams now sufficated...
Yet still trying so hard to make them happen
Even though they are no longer with you
Still they are the ones that keep you fighting for what you have
Holding on with everything you've got
Yes, they left you when you were crying out for help
But it will make you a stronger, better person for it
Your pain will not be in vain
It will be for something better in the end
Life is funny that way
We all go through things we wish we weren't at the time
But when it's all said and done...
That's why we are who we are today
IF that didn't happen...
We would be a completely different person than we are now
So its somehow all for the best
Even when your best intrest is not at heart
We all just need to try and remember that!
